Supercharging Edmonton's Creative Economy
Edmonton’s artists and festival creators are cultural contributors and economic innovators. By cutting red tape, activating public spaces, and investing in shared creative infrastructure, we can empower our arts community to drive year-round vibrancy and growth. When creativity leads, Edmonton thrives.

Why It Feels Like the Entire City Is Under Construction
Edmonton’s biggest delays start long before construction. By funding projects earlier, using smaller, repeatable builds, and coordinating work through a public dashboard, we can cut costs, reduce disruption, and give residents clear timelines. Let’s build smarter—fast, phased, and transparent—so our city grows without feeling stuck in a permanent construction zone.

Doubling Down on Downtown
Downtown Edmonton once generated 10% of our city’s tax revenue—now it’s 5%. To revive it, we must set a bold goal: double the population in five years. More homes, safer streets, better transit, year-round events, and big partnerships can turn empty space into vibrant neighbourhoods. More people means more investment—and a Downtown that’s alive, thriving, and ours.

Why I'm Running
I’m Anand Pye, running for Edmonton City Council in Ward O-day’min. With years of experience uniting people, supporting local business, and championing the arts, I believe Edmonton thrives when we get the basics right, plan smart, and empower our communities. I’m ready to bring energy, optimism, and hands-on leadership to City Hall
